2.5 Ton Evaporator N Coil Cased Vertical Upflow / Downflow Painted 14" Width (Aluminum)

This vertical design N-coil is a furnace coil designed to provide the highest standards of reliability and durability. The coils are available for use in Puron®, R-410A refrigerant and R-22 systems. Both designs have a painted case and come with factory-installed thermostatic expansion valves (TXV). The coils are offered in different width configurations for use in multiple installation applications. Additionally, they are offered in a transition configuration, a design which simplifies making field-supplied transition duct configurations. Easy maintenance is provided as the coil slides out of the cabinet after removing the access door and service panel. The coils are available in sizes 018 through 061 (1-1/2 to 5 tons).
Transition coil models CNPVT are designed for use with one size smaller width furnaces without field modifications.
Aluminum Coils - "L" models are built with aluminum hairpins, designed to resist both general pitting corrosion and excessive indoor Formicary Corrosion. (Formicary Corrosion is an industry phenomenon.)

STANDARD FEATURES
Water Management - These coil designs do an excellent job of water management. The coils are designed to avoid water blow-off into the ducts by directing condensate away from the fins and into the drain pan.
Durable Condensate Pan - Each coil is equipped with a corrosion-resistant condensate drain pan. The condensate drain pan is designed with a slope to help ensure proper drainage, improved moisture removal, and home comfort.
Compact Design - Unique design offers as much as 2 to 4 in. (51 to 102 mm) less in height to aid in tight installations.
Brass Inserts - Every condensate pan features two 3/4 in. female threaded brass insert connections. The unique brass inserts provide for a leak-free condensate line connection to prevent water damage.
Refrigerant Connections - The coils are provided with proven sweat-connections for leak-free operation maintaining system reliability.
Burst Pressures - These coils meet or exceed burst pressure of 2100 psi which is at least three to five times the pressure they will see in actual application.
Thermostatic Expansion Valves (TXV) - All Carrier coils have refrigerant-specific factory-installed TXVs.
Teflon Ring - The ring, installed inside the liquid line connection at the TXV, is the best option for preventing refrigerant leaks and future service calls. Teflon works with both Puron, R-410A, the environmentally friendly refrigerant and R-22 refrigerants.
Protective Tube Sheets - Protect the durable copper tubing from being damaged during the manufacturing and installation process.

Everything included in one price, including the sales tax!

You are seeing our “all-in” prices online, which include the cost of the heating and cooling system, installation parts, labor costs and sales tax. In most circumstances, this installation package covers everything to replace your existing system. Some projects, however, may require work outside of a typical installation, and therefore may incur additional charges. Prior to starting your project, your adviser will discuss any additional required work, if applicable, and why it’s needed. You will not be under obligation to have any work performed unless you agree to the work quoted and the price you’re given at that time. Your installation is guaranteed to pass inspection or we will fix it for free.

As a part of our professional installation of HVAC systems, we will perform the following:

  • APPLICATION FOR STATE & LOCAL PERMITS: Permit fees are not included, as they vary by municipality.
  • REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF YOUR EXISTING SYSTEM: We recycle your old equipment.
  • INSTALLATION OF NEW CONDENSATE DRAIN: Includes up to 10 feet of gravity drain.
  • FABRICATION OF NEW SHEET METAL SUPPLY TRANSITION: Includes up to 12 in. to connect the new system to existing ductwork.
  • OUTDOOR UNIT REPLACEMENT PACKAGE: Includes new outdoor pad, snow legs, weatherproof electrical disconnect and waterproof electrical line whip.
  • NITROGEN LEAK TEST: We will pressure test the existing refrigerant lines. If leak is found a quote to repair or replace will be given.
  • PROFESSIONAL VACUUM TEST: Our installers carry micron gauges and will pull a vacuum below 500 microns on every job.
  • 10 YEAR COMPRESSOR, 10 YEAR PARTS & ONE-YEAR LABOR WARRANTY: Equipment must be registered within 30 days of installation to receive warranty.

Possible additional charges:

Our standard installation package includes everything required for most installations. Should your project require work outside of a standard installation, your adviser will discuss anything that may result in additional charges. You will not be under obligation to have any work performed unless you agree to the work quoted and the price you’re given at that time. Examples of equipment or labor that could result in additional charges include:

  • Condensate Removal Pump
  • Attic Charges
  • Crane Charges
  • Flue Piping Longer Than 6 ft.
  • Custom Sheet Metal Work
  • Combustion Air Registers
  • Working in finished basements with finished ceilings
  • Converting from standard efficiency to high efficiency

We're trying hard to keep it simple!

Our goal is one price, one trip, one day.

We believe no one should have to come to your home to quote prices for a HVAC systems, parts and standard installation. Sure, we’ll come to your house to take measurements and ensure that we've sized the right system, but we hold the cost of our systems and installations to the prices we show online.

Next Steps

  1. Call us to select your system and to schedule a no-obligation home measurement so that we verify that we’ve sized the right system and to take required measurements.
  2. If gas permits are required by your municipality, we'll collect the nominal fee and process the permits before we begin.
  3. Please ask us about financing if that can help.

We hope we've made this easy. We believe that one simple price — known up front — let's everyone focus on getting this done right.

Warranty

We stand behind the work we perform and the quality of the HVAC systems we install. We guarantee your new HVAC equipment or system will pass inspection or we’ll make the needed adjustments so that it does. Additionally, we provide a 10 Year Parts & Two-Year Labor Warranty on all new heating and cooling systems we install.
