The 926TB Multipoise Variable-Speed Condensing Gas Furnace features the two-stage Preferred™ Series System. The Perfect Heat® technology two-stage gas valve is at the heart of the comfort provided by this furnace, along with the variable-speed ECM blower motor, and two-speed inducer motor. With an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) up to 96.5%, the Preferred™ Series two-stage gas furnace provides exceptional savings as well when compared to standard gas furnaces. This Preferred™ Series Gas Furnace also features 4-way multipoise installation flexibility, and is available in eight model sizes. The 926TB can be vented for direct vent/two-pipe, ventilated combustion air, or single-pipe applications. Low NOx units are designed for California installations and meet 40 ng/J NOx emissions. Can be installed in air quality management districts with a 40 ng/J NOx emissions requirement. All sizes are design certified in Canada. This furnace is not designed for use in recreation vehicles, manufactured (mobile) homes or outdoors.

4-way multipoise design for upflow, downflow or horizontal installations, with unique vent elbow and optional through-the-cabinet downflow venting capability.
Factory-configured ready for upflow applications.
Installation flexibility: sidewall or vertical vent.
Ideal height 35" (889 mm) cabinet: short enough for taller coils, but still allows enough room for service.
Direct-vent/sealed combustion, single-pipe venting or ventilated combustion air.
APPLICATIONS
Propane convertible with gas conversion accessory kit.
Convenient Air Purifier and Humidifier connections.
5 ton sizes (sizes 60080 and 60100) allow 15 Amp breaker with accessory (order separately).
FanOn Plus™ technology allows control of continuous fan speed from a compatible thermostat.
CERTIFICATIONS
All sizes meet ENERGY STAR® Version 4.1 criteria for gas furnaces: 95%+ AFUE.
Cabinet air leakage less than 2.0% at 1.0 in. W.C. and cabinet air leakage less than 1.4% at 0.5 in. W.C. when tested in accordance with ASHRAE standard 193.
All sizes meet 40 ng/J NOx emissions. Can be installed in air quality management districts with a 40 ng/J NOx emissions requirement

In most circumstances, this installation package covers everything to replace your existing system. Some projects, however, may require work outside of a typical installation, and therefore may incur additional charges. Prior to starting your project, your adviser will discuss any additional required work, if applicable, and why it’s needed. You will not be under obligation to have any work performed unless you agree to the work quoted and the price you’re given at that time. Your installation is guaranteed to pass inspection or we will fix it for free.

As a part of our professional installation of HVAC systems, we will perform the following:

  • APPLICATION FOR STATE & LOCAL PERMITS: Permit fees are not included, as they vary by municipality.
  • REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF YOUR EXISTING SYSTEM: We recycle your old equipment.
  • INSTALLATION OF NEW CONDENSATE DRAIN: Includes up to 10 feet of gravity drain.
  • FABRICATION OF NEW SHEET METAL SUPPLY TRANSITION: Includes up to 12 in. to connect the new system to existing ductwork.
  • OUTDOOR UNIT REPLACEMENT PACKAGE: Includes new outdoor pad, snow legs, weatherproof electrical disconnect and waterproof electrical line whip.
  • NITROGEN LEAK TEST: We will pressure test the existing refrigerant lines. If leak is found a quote to repair or replace will be given.
  • PROFESSIONAL VACUUM TEST: Our installers carry micron gauges and will pull a vacuum below 500 microns on every job.
  • 10 YEAR COMPRESSOR, 10 YEAR PARTS & ONE-YEAR LABOR WARRANTY: Equipment must be registered within 30 days of installation to receive warranty.

Possible additional charges:

Our standard installation package includes everything required for most installations. Should your project require work outside of a standard installation, your adviser will discuss anything that may result in additional charges. You will not be under obligation to have any work performed unless you agree to the work quoted and the price you’re given at that time. Examples of equipment or labor that could result in additional charges include:

  • Condensate Removal Pump
  • Attic Charges
  • Crane Charges
  • Flue Piping Longer Than 6 ft.
  • Custom Sheet Metal Work
  • Combustion Air Registers
  • Working in finished basements with finished ceilings
  • Converting from standard efficiency to high efficiency
